ABOUT ANIMAL ACUPUNCTURE
Just as humans have used acupuncture for thousands of years, our animal companions can benefit from this same time tested healing practice. Animal acupuncture involves the careful placement of hair-thin, sterile needles at specific acu-points along your pet's body, working with the same energetic pathways, known as meridians, used in traditional acupuncture. Treatment works by stimulating your pet's own healing response, easing pain, and restoring balance to the nervous, muscular and energetic systems.
Our animals communicate their discomfort differently than we do, and acupuncture offers a way to meet them exactly where they are addressing the root of what is going on, not just the symptoms on the surface, while honoring the whole animal - body, energy and spirit.

BENEFITS OF ANIMAL ACUPUNCTURE
Animal acupuncture is commonly used to support pets navigating:
* Arthritis, hip dysplasia, disc disease and other mobility challenges
* Chronic pain
* Post-surgical recovery
* Anxiety
* Digestive issues
* Skin conditions
* General aging related decline
Many pet parents also turn to animal acupuncture simply as a proactive way to support their animal's overall vitality and quality of life.
This gentle, drug free approach is well suited to a wide range of animals, and is especially valuable for pets who may not tolerate certain medications well, or for those seeking to complement conventional veterinary care with a more integrative approach. Most animals tend to tolerate acupuncture treatments very well.
